I haven't put up a post in about a year. Because I haven't done anything in a year. Well, almost a year... getting close.
The last time we had "fun" with another couple was the first weekend of March last year. We were already nervous about going out. Nothing since then. But it's been interesting watching the swinger sites.
What has been interesting to me/us is that there are a lot of people out there who are still trying to play. This weekend for instance there was still the swinger hotel takeover party as well as a fun GB party that we would have loved to have gone to. But we haven't gotten our vaccinations yet so we're still playing it safe.
So who are these people who are going to the parties? Are they all first line responders and have all gotten vaccinated? We doubt it. We don't want to judge people but it's been sort of interesting to see who are signing up for the parties. We noticed that last Spring/Summer it was a lot of single guys. A few couples. No single ladies. When things died down a little bit in the summer more couples started to put up things like hot date ads. Some of the swinger clubs reopened as well. We would see postings for parties.
We've been trying to stay home as much as possible. Swinger clubs? We're nowhere near comfortable with that at this point! But clearly there are people who are. Things got bad again in the winter and all the clubs were forced to close down again. But now that things have settled down a bit they have opened up again.
We've been talking to our friends. That has been interesting for us as well. If everyone is telling us the truth pretty much none of our close friends have been playing either. We've all been taking a break. We think this tells us that we have responsible friends. That we've made good choices about our play partners. We have a bunch of dates lined up for as soon as everyone has their shots! So hopefully later this summer we'll be having plenty of fun again.
I did have a situation a few months ago that I felt bad about. I had been talking to my friend Mari. She's a hot wife I love to get together with. We agreed that maybe it would be fun to take a risk and she and I meet. Just one on one. She and her husband and kids had been at home for months as well. I talked to Maria about it and she thought it would be OK as well. We made plans for me to go over to their place after their small kids went to sleep. Mari's husband would stay upstairs and make sure the kids were OK while I met Mari in their spare bedroom in the basement. I would sneak in and out the back door. It sounded totally hot to me. An amazing scenario. We made a date to meet and then Maria freaked out at the last minute. She told me that she just wasn't comfortable with the potential exposure. So I had to cancel.
Mari is one of the first people I plan on meeting once we feel it's safe. I hope I can still go to her house and fuck her in the basement while her hubby is upstairs. We'll text him pix and videos once in a while. I can't wait! When will this be over?!?
