Birth Control

There are many people who have said that swinging is a very matriarchal scene. The ladies are the ones who are ultimately in control. The ladies are the one who say "yes" and the fun is on. If they say "no", and they have every right to do so, there will be no fun that night. So some people have said that swinging is a very feminist grrrl power scene because of this.

There is one thing however that I was thinking about recently that is, I think, completely sexist. Birth Control is rarely, if ever, discussed. Maybe it's talked about if one or both of the couple have been "fixed". Some men love to say that they're "V" safe. They like to meet ladies/couples that will let him fuck the lady without a condom since he can't get her pregnant. Still not safe sex by any means. The only other situation I've run into is when a lady is completely off birth control and is trying to get pregnant. This is really rare though. It seems most couples take a break when they try to have kids. Condoms are only so effective.

So for the most part what birth control the lady is on is a complete mystery. I think there's an assumption by most men in the lifestyle that it's the lady's problem. It's up to the lady to take care of that side of things and not a word be said about it otherwise. Is that sexist? I think it kind of is.
