Different types of swinging

So if you know nothing about the "lifestyle" you might be surprised that there are a few different styles of swinging. It's really all up to you and what you're the most comfortable with.

I think we've talked about full swap vs. soft swap. Basically full out swapping and fucking vs. just watching or maybe oral as well but no fucking.

There there is same room vs separate room. I don't think we've ever done separate room? We almost always play together when we're together. I like to watch Maria have fun!

I'm talking about things that are a little different. How do you like to meet couples. What is a fun night out for you?

For instance. We're more homebodies. A fun night with a couple or single we know is renting a hotel room or their place (we can't host) and hanging out for the night. Maybe some food, conversation, and lots of playing.

When we meet people for the first time we prefer a more intimate setting. Dinner or drinks somewhere quiet where we can talk and flirt and mingle.

Some couples love the party scene. There are large "meet and greets" that take place at the dance clubs or at a bar. They are often set up near a hotel so you can rent rooms if you would like. The crowds are huge. The couples are often young and hot and they dance all night to the loud music. Then they go to the "after-party" at 2am and fuck till the break of dawn.

Some couples love the travel/club scene. Hedo is the most famous. Fly to Jamaica and hang out at the swingers resort for a week. Fucking by pool and dancing and drinking all day and night. We know some couples that do that once or twice a year and that's pretty much good for them. There are also swinger vacation package tours. You can now go to Denver for a long weekend swingers convention that is designed for swingers who want to have lots of sex and smoke lots of legal weed!

There are the swingers clubs. We know some couples that pick a fave club and go every weekend. Or at least once or twice a month. That's what they do. They know that sometimes when they go they'll meet old friends. Sometimes they'll make new friends. Sometimes they'll not meet anyone at all but just enjoy the club atmosphere and hanging out and socializing.

Some couple really enjoy the hotel/house party scene. These are usually group parties with anywhere from 3 to 4 to 15 couples. Smaller than the full out swinger parties. These are usually more intimate and end up being full out orgies in our experience. We like house parties with the right mix of people. ;-)

I suppose there is also the ABS scene. Adult Book Stores. Some couples really get off on going to the adult stores and theaters. There are several places in the Chicago area where couples can go to have spontaneous sex with strangers. That's a little too "hard core" for even us! Every couple needs to figure out what works best for them, what their limits are, and what they enjoy.

When we first started swinging we had no idea that there were so many different types of swinging and so many options.
